DO NOT DISCUSS AP QUESTIONS/FREE RESPONSE UNTIL AFTER THE 48 HOUR PERIOD
I took the AP U.S. History exam this morning. On the writing portion there was a lot of stuff about minorities so I did my best to make it politically correct.
like i said, they're pointless

no they're not.
Passing an AP Exam can get you college classes waived.

I took this today too <3
I did essays 2 & 5 for free response
for the DBQ I wrote about my best friend, Indian & Thai food, what I do when I am lonely and my friend Shady Downer.
Essay #2 I wrote about Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective
Essay #5 I wrote about what I did last Summer

Are you serious? Anyway, I thought the multiple choice questions were EASY. That should balance out three subpar essays.

I don't really care if I pass or not... and obviously I eliminated my chances of getting a 4-5... I dunno, will they terminate my test? I was thinking they might.

i would have wrote as much relevant info as possible
i heard they even deduct points for off-topic essays as opposed to leaving the essay blank

Sorry - by everything I've said in this thread I meant to communicate that I do not care about the AP exam or getting a 4-5 on it which is why I wrote off-topic essays.
Obviously I'll "fail" the test :p but it doesn't affect me. I don't mind having to take another history course in college

the only prompt I read was the DBQ prompt which I actually integrated into my essay (very uh abstractedly)

I doubt Evergreen will except my Sunnyslope high school AP courses for college credit, or that APUSH will even be relevant to the courses I will take there.
anyway i'm not a history major so i don't need the credit for apush
I got 5s when I took apush and ap language

uh, AP credit is AP credit, that's why the tests are standardized and administered by the same company on the same day across the country... your high school doesn't matter
also even if there's not even a history course to get out of, you can use the credits to fill otherwise mandatory elective spaces, which means you have to take less classes.
also like yeah my ap statistics and ap calculus bc credits will find more of a use than my apush credit

I understand that you have taken the AP tests and have experienced but when I signed up for APUSH last year my teacher told me that many out of state colleges will not except the AP credits that I receive while in high school.

I'm not taking any AP exams this year. The only one I could take would be AP World History, so I decided to just skip it because I don't feel like studying. Instead, I get to skip first period to go get tacos.

My school sucks. They make us pay something like $50 just to take one test. I don't have that kind of money.

There's this one teacher that charges 25 dollars, usually the tests here are 75 dollars.
hgeo test was easy
i only took calc and english. English was easy as holy hell. Calc made me ask myself why I even bothered sitting for the exa. I literally did not answer one of the free-response questions correctly. I ythink I got the first part of two of them correct... so that's like a 2/22 on the free-response. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that's right.
The AP english free-response topic literally could not have been any easier, but I still chose ana wful topic. The prompt was to write about a symbol in a novel and say how it adds to character delvelopment/ themes/ etc. I did the Bible in Crime and Punishment. I think I may have pulled it off well enough, but I dunno.
I had so much extra time after the multiple-choice thta I memorized the last stanza of one of the poems. Unfortunately, I have since forgotten everything except the last 4 lines.

My sophomore year of high school, the same thing happened to me. It was on the MCAS test, though (it's a standardized test we have to pass in order to graduate in Massachusetts). The chemistry section didn't count, so my friend and I decided to mess around with it. I put C for every answer and wrote hilarious stuff for the open-response questions. Also, since there's no time limit, we took the entire school day to finish even though it should only take a few hours. Anyway, we got caught, so the vice principal yelled at us and said that he was going to call our parents about this (which he never did).
All in all, it was a pretty fun test.

And for two, I can't even handle ab. So why would I ever take bc?
