Right, so on Friday a kid asked me to fix a Gateway W340UA. The Nvidia GeForce 6100 on it is dead, and its a chipset so its not replaceable. Also, he said before the video chipset died, Vista broke. Now, I have a Gateway MA3, just laying around, and basically both laptops are similar.

I switched the hard drives and ram (because the W340UA had more RAM (2GBs) and the MA3 booted up fine, but Vista is broke. I can sell the said kid the MA3 plus a few hours of fixing Vista. The whole problem is, I don't know the amount to sell him for the MA3. The MA3 is a 15inch instead of the W340UA being 13inches, but there very similar.
What would be a good price for the MA3. (I kinda want $400, but I'm leaving it to the internet)

On what grounds. There is a problem with the MA3 that is happing that it only charges some of the time, but not all of the time. I'm trying to isolate the problem but it seems to only charge sometimes when its upside-down.
