Title: Camera transferring question because I'm semi-retarded
Post by: anus on April 13, 2009, 03:25:45 PM
Okey dokey. I have a HD video camera. I want to transfer my videos to a DVD. I'm kinda sure of this, but I want to check. Do I have to buy special blank HD DVD's? I have normal blank DVD's, but I was wondering whether I have to buy (do they exist?) blank HD DVD's, or whether normal blank DVD's will work.

THANKS GUYS n_u

No, they can hold HD content it'd just take up more space than a normal one.

Yeah, he's right, regular DVDs work for HD content however it won't play in HD on a regular DVD player, and probably won't play at all unless you used a DVD creator software.

Goddammit. My camera is AVCHD, and WHADDYA KNOW, normal DVD players can't play AVCHD.

the only way to play acvhd dvd's is to get a damn blu ray player doodthing;
