Title: router halp
Post by: Zach on March 26, 2009, 01:49:58 PM
Alright, so I'm hanging out in Alabama at my grandmother's house for a few days, and her wireless network has completely crapped out.

The router is a Belkin G+ MIMO (whatever the hell that means), and I reconfigured it, but so far I can only connect with a LAN cable. The router's wireless light won't come on, and I can't figure out why it won't work. Any advice on things I can try?

Don't know, but it looks like I can't connect because I don't have the right network security key put in, which is bullshit because I know exactly what it is. I'm trying to figure out how to find it or reset it.

Alright, it's fixed. The only problem was that the network security key had somehow been changed, and so I went to command prompt > ipconfig, wrote down the address, put in the browser, and logged in and changed the key. Problem solved.
