Title: an actual story written by my 9 year old brother
Post by: Sam on March 22, 2009, 04:25:14 PM
I have no idea what the assignment was, but I found this on my desktop today:
QuoteI have an uncle who died last year.  He now exists in my Heart.  He had a cat.  He also had a great Family!!!

First, my uncle died.  We donââ,¬â,,¢t know how he died, but we have two possible methods.  One method is that he had an aneurism. We think this because before he died he bought medicine to rub on his forehead.  The second method is that he died from dehydration.  We think this because he had no water bottle in his truck.  When he died he landed under a bridge.  My dad says that another Fed-Ex driver was working with him.  The man said that my uncle had sped right passed him.  He watched him break through the guard rails, and then he hit the bottom side of the bridge.  I find it sad when the man said that he opened the door to my uncleââ,¬â,,¢s truck and he saw him gasping for air.  A couple of days later we saw a cross made out of sticks where the truck landed.
Next, my uncle had a cute cat named Lucy.  She was dirty blonde with splotches of brown and black.  After my uncle died, his cat was raised by my family and me.  Lucy was a very, very old cat.  We loved her and took care of her for a long time, but something unfortunate happened to her.  One day, she disappeared. Nobody knew where she was.  We waited and waited but she never came back.  After a while, we figured that she was dead,
Finally, my uncle had a wonderful, great family.  His brother, Bob, is my dad.  My dad took his job as a Fed Ex driver after my Uncle Billy died.   My uncle was always a singly man.  I donââ,¬â,,¢t know if he ever had a girlfriend, but he didnââ,¬â,,¢t have a wife or kids.  After my uncle died, his house went to his parents.  His parents put the house up for rent and now a nice man named Yeurgen and his wife live next door to me.
I really miss my uncle.  He was my world.  I wish he was still alive!!!

Thank you. I was in far too good of a mood today and you really brought me down to where I should be.

Whats singly mean? I'm not trying to be an ass or w/e, I honestly don't know.

He writes better than my idiot 7th grade brother.

I'm assuming something along the lines of 'solitary'

Ew, your brother uses the old "two spaces after sentence-ending punctuation" rule? What a tool.

That's a pretty terrible way for a relative to die

I personally think it was suicide, but I would never say that to my family.

I think it was his second attempt too, about a year before he died he was in a motorcycle accident where he almost killed himself. The only peculiar thing about the accidents are that both involved only his vehicle.

My uncle was killed while riding his motorcycle... It was wet and the bike went out from under him as he went around a curve. He went head first into the guard rail, and after spending some time in a coma, he died. I never really knew him, but my dad gets really sad when something reminds him of his brother
