uh in grade nine science we got cups and put paper towels in them and then but beans in it and they grew some roots.

in elementary school we just used plastic baggies though.
cups are an upgrade i suppose.

i'll be doing that over the weekend with seed herbs

i remember one time i wanted to see a corn sprout but it got smelly and gross in my peat mason jar ;_;

also who hands their ziplock bag  akudood;

i think i let in bacterium in the jar and it had no air ventilation which probably bred e coli and destroyed the corn  cjlubdoods;

Had to do something very similar every year, around St. Patrick's Day up to 5th, when I first did it in 1st. Mine always died. :(

We cut a carrot About two inches from the stem end. Then hollowed out the stem end for like an inch.  Filled it with water and hung it with the stem down.   doodhuh;
