Me and my bro were talking (through text) and he said he would call me after he ate dinner, so I texted back,"alright". Did that disturb him? Should I not have texted him back and ended the conversation as is?

this may be an odd question but I was just wondering, does the first text recipient have to end the conversation with the final text?

Uh that's kind of a trivial thing to worry about, but you're letting him know you got the text so idk.

I'm extremely formal in texting, and I actually spell out the word "you". My friends make fun of me for it, but I feel retarded texting any other way ;-;

That's how I do it too.

Oh, and I text very formal. I spell every word fully and correctly.

I completely spell words too, it does not feel right to shorten words for no real reason except to save time. Plus my phone has a full keyboard so it's not so difficult anyway.
