album you can think of.
I need passionate music.
Either "Our Endless Numbered Days" or "Shepherd's Dog" by Iron and Wine

Not really profound or overly emotional, but still very good music. hocuspocus;
Umm.....
Caesars' Paper Tigers is their most emotional one I guess.
John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band
One that comes to mind is The Flying Club Cup by Beirut. I also think Antidotes by Foals is very emotional.
Or, for something completely different, Lure the Fox by Haley Bonar.
I know there's better albums for what you're looking for than these, that I can't even listen to very often because they move me so much, but I can't think of them... I guess one would be Transatlanticism but that's just because it's associated with a time in my life and I'm sure you have it.
You've heard it, but my favorite would still be Who Will Survive, and What Will Be Left of Them?, which in my opinion is the musical equivalent of a Hitchcock film.

Well 2/4 ain't bad... I don't really listen to anything I'd consider profound
Explosions in the Sky or Sigur Ros? Tracy Chapman's first album.
Maybe Jeff Buckley or John Coltrane. Probably some Smashing Pumpkins album. I'd guess Pisces Iscariot.
Joanna Newsom's YS album
I really hope that you try it because "Sawdust and Diamonds" and "Monkey and Bear" really are the most emotional songs I can think of you. If you try it I am sure you will see that.
S & M by Metallica
Ode To Ochrasy & Never Seen The Light of Day, both by Mando Diao. Many of those songs are really very powerful

I recommend Loveless by My Bloody Valentine, if you don't already have it... I think you would fall in love with that album.
I second this.
Alright I got The Shepherd's Dog, and I love it. Thank you for that YPR
I'm not really a fan of the Caesars
John Lennon, meh, I'll check it out though
I got Antidotes and Transatlanticism and so far love both, thanks Snorkel.
I already have Explosions in the Sky
I tried Joanna Newsom's album but I just can't get into it, and It's kind of upsetting that I can't actually.
Steal, I already have Loveless, and yea, it's fucking great
Have Mando Diao
Thanks guys for the input

god damn you saddood;
Yeah, everyone's heard it, but Wish You Were Here. That's really really emotional and heart-driven. I figured what you want is stuff you haven't heard, but it's still really good when you want emotional heart-driven music.
Pieces Of A Man by Gil Scott-Heron
jazz/soul/poetry type album
idk maybe you're too white for it
