but for those like me who have many many tabs open in a day long browsing session the memory leaks and cache issues and other junk make it unreliable and i've found that safari is just as bad at spontaneously deciding it doesn't want to load any more pages and shiira is unusable akudood;

I leave Firefox open for days at a time, usually with 5 or 6 tabs in at least two windows, and I haven't had a memory leak since updating to 3.0.5.

It does crash every month or so, but what browser doesn't (don't say Safari madood;)?

And Safari constantly locks up for minutes at a time while loading pages with lots of medium size images.

well yeah i'm not saying that average use will cause it, but it's not so much just the "oh hey guff i'm gonna gobble up 800MB of ram ~_~" as it is the "uh i think i've done enough work today i don't feel like loading any more pages @_@" but that's true of both safari and firefox from what i've seen baddood;
