Title: Should I graduate early?
Post by: [REDACTED] on January 25, 2009, 05:31:40 PM
I just cannot stand the bureaucracy my school has become. I'm frequently accused of truancy, despite having valid reasons such as doctor's appointments for my absences. I cannot afford private school, and community college is a cheaper substitute.
P.S.: I am not dropping out.

It depends. If you drop out of high school you lost most of your chances for scholarships or other financial aid that your school offers. You also have to consider going to a different high school, if that is an option. Otherwise, go for it.

I'm not dropping out, per se. I'm taking senior English and government next semester.

Do it.

The only reason anyone would want to stay is to maintain a social life, but if that's not a concern, I see no reason to not finish up early.

[real name], unfortunately your schedule change could not be done because [dsfjldfsjldfslkjdsf school] no longer allows students to graduate early.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
this is also weird: my counselor contacted a minor, but she did not bother to inform my parents
