Title: Child of Alara
Post by: The artist formally known on January 21, 2009, 03:32:55 PM
Jesus Christ, it's like a Wrath of God that kills everything.

All you need is this card by itself on the board to scare your opponent.

Progenitius isn't a reanimator card, read the final version of it. It has the shuffle into library effect like Darksteel Colossus. Sure you can reanimate it right before it resolves but you can't just Merfolk Looter it.

Progenitius is one of the coolest cards ever though.

Maelstrom Archangel + Rancor = free Cruel Ultimatum every turn. Meglonoth is also awesome.

Haha I was playing a Zoo deck on MWS for the hell of it, I never play Extended. And I played Might of Alara and noticed WHY it's so good.

Boros Swiftblade + Might of Alara = 12 damage

I was wondering why Zoo used Boros Swiftblade. Didn't really think about it until both were in my hand and I was like "Oh wow, double strike"

And I could see Crystal Quarry in 11th Edition though I wouldn't play it because all the vivid lands and reflecting pools are just fucking all over the stupid place. I mean they just killed the Fae with Spreadshot Archer and 5 color has more options now (Child of Alara being my favorite new 5 color control card.)

And Elfball = Lol

Makeshifting Mirror-Sigil Sergeant at the EOT could be pretty devastating if it lands.

That other player better do something or they lose and QUICKLY. Six mana just makes it awful though.

i just summoned satan in p4

Zero weaknesses, absorbs physical attacks, reflects fire and darkness, regenerates SP and HP every turn, godlike magic strength, the most powerful Almighty attack in the game, target-all spells of three types, and more.

I don't play Magic but I guess P4's summoning system is kind of related because you fuse cards for more powerful beasts.

I play Unsummon and attack with my Darksteel Colossus and Progenitus.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I just saw Spreadshot Archer. <3

And yes, zoo with Swiftblade was stupid fast.

What about elfball?

I have a Legacy elfball with Concordant Crossroads and Collective Unconscious. So much fun to barf half your deck onto the table.

Elfball is so powerful if it doesn't run into a pyroclasm or alt.

You can't reanimate it because it never actually goes to the graveyard. It's a replacement effect, not a triggered effect.
