I never understood the point of the LotR game. I only ever played 40K, but it seemed to me that the standard fantasy Warhammer was more interesting and varied than LotR.

Warhammer Fantasy is, maybe, a bit cooler, but I'm not incredibly familiar with the rules so casual games are hard... it's not streamlined and user-friendly like 40k.
