Title: I am looking to play some games that ran off of Dos

Does Windows XP support these games? I know some games were ported from Dos to XP

I'm looking to buy Blood  shlick;

Yes, in Compatibility mode, you can. I don't even need to bother setting it, though.

It still has a DOS in it.
