I was 12.
15 on Martin Luther King Day of my Sophomore year.
Yes. I remember the day. baddood;
i also remember the next day ;-;
I was thirteen and working as a carny traveling around southern Minnesota. I had no way to really contact my parents so I bought a crappy tracfone and used that.
Then later next year I got a plan with t-mobile. Yep.
I've paid for all my phones.
15. Sophomore year
18...This year. It was March.
14, nearly 15.
Or maybe I was 15 befuddlement
I don't have a cell phone, because I don't feel the need for one
I couldn't even text with the one I used to have
17
i didn't want it, but my mom insisted that i have it just in case anything happened and i needed to get ahold of her

That means you don't have many friends

you're joking, right?

They could also just prefer other means of communication. I hate phones. I do have a few friends and when what I have to ask them isn't urgent, I prefer to choose the e-mail option.
Obviously, I don't have a cellphone, but I know it'd be useful once I get a job so I intend to get one once I get my first eventual paycheck.
i was like 9 or 10
i dont even know where my phone is right now hocuspocus;
I don't have one.
Actually, I had one for a short time when I was 13, but my mom decided it was a waste of money since I never used it.
I don't have much use for one. Other types of communication are easy to use and it's not like I really need to communicate long-distance when I'm not at home. Chatting with friends can easily be done only while meeting them in real life or IM-ing them without using texting.

I lol'd
Actually, yeah according to this (http://boyah.net/forums/index.php/topic,29461.60.html") I don't have many friends.
But the main reason is because I can just talk to most of the people IRL that I would talk to on the phone
for christmas in eighth grade because i bitched that all the other eighth graders had phones hocuspocus;
I don't even remember.
6th grade?
I don't need one because I do not call anyone. I do not speak to anyone.
some pay-per-minute thing when I was 14 I think
I got it at 16
14, because there was some deal at Verizon where you could get four phones for some low price, so everyone in my family got one. I rarely use it.
Does Geno even have friends?
I think I was around 15. It was one of those prepaid cellphones.
I don't have one. I had one a while ago though.
12, but I was only allowed to start texting at 16.
N/A
I don't have one, but then again I don't really need one. It'd be nice to have all of my calls come directly to me and not to the house phone, but it's not worth the money. befuddlement
18 during the summer before I went off to college
eleven hocuspocus; hocuspocus;
i still dont even use my cell phone though
I may be getting one next month, I'm really not sure.
I don't have one. I see no point in getting one. I don't talk much anyway. If I'm at school and need to call home, I'll use the classroom phone. If I'm at home, I'll use that phone.
I was 14, I think. My parents upraded and so I just got my moms old phone and they just put me on their minutes, which wasn't that bad, I mean who was I going to talk to at 14?
I remember my old Nokia back in the 4th grade
(personal flashback giggle;)
I got one at 16 and it's used for emergencies only.
I was a Freshman when I got my first phone, an iPhone at the clearance price of 299.99. I sold that phone during the summer for 375 dollars, and bought an iPhone 3G for only 199.
I was 17, this being around three months ago. I got it because there are no landline phones in my building so if I wanted to be able to use a phone at all it was my only option. I mostly just leave it in my room.

How did you break the first one i the first place D:
it fell in the bath tub and a cup of juice.
and its fallen on the ground too many times.
its been stepped on.
like somethings on it still work.
but i cant really do anything on it except tell time and sometimes use the internet.
My parents told me the only way I could have a phone is if I work and get one myself. It seems fair enough but it's hard getting a job when you're only 15.
Also, when I do get a job, I'm going to get an iPhone.
apparently iphones are awesome.
but id never want one.
I dont have a phone yet :(

lol subsidized phone for christmas
So I was thinking 7th grade, but then I entered less than 10 years old. Stupid sam.
So 12-13, but I shared it with my brother and it was emergencies only. I had that same phone until last christmas. My god that thing was indestructible. One of these REALLY old nokia models.
I was fourteen. giggle;
I was 18, but I didn't start using it until I was 19.
Now I can't live without it. D:
