Title: iPod's Dead.
Post by: fox127 on November 17, 2008, 05:56:19 PM
Well, I don't know if it's ok to post this here, but whatever. I'm pissed, my iPod froze, turned off, and hasn't responded to charging since yesterday. Anyone know if I take it to Apple Store if they can fix it or should I give up, and wish for another? baddood;

ps. The walk to my bus stop is so quiet and uninteresting without it.

Did you try resetting it (holding the center and Menu buttons down) ?

Unless it's under warranty , taking it to the Apple store will be a waste of time unless you are willing to dish out some decent coin .

Yeah, I did. And well, I rather repair then buy it again.

Isn't it cheaper to take it in and fix it?

yah it probably would be eaiser to take it in and get them to fix it.
but if your ipod is old you mise well just go buy another.

Nah, it's the...3rd (I think, I don't even know) generation nano, the one with video, 8gb. Hopefully it won't cost too much, don't have much to spare for a little music device  baddood;

Depending on the device, you could fix it yourself, depending means if it's an HDD based one or not.
