Has anyone else seen substantial snow yet this year, or do I win?
I got up today and there was snow on everything. It was pretty.
It doesn't usually start snowing here until sometime around January.
We got a light dusting of snow last week, but it's disturbingly warm here right now.
we got a little snow but not much
it's supposed to snow here today, but we haven't gotten it yet
it's probably the same storm system, just hit you guys first
I had some last month but it melted. It's cold out lately so I'm expecting one soon.
It's snowing right now, but it also snowed in October
In October we had snow flurries.
It hasn't snowed at all here yet. Not even flurries.
I live directly on the shore, so usually our snow is substantially less than the towns that are more northern-CT.
I love the snow sooooooooooooo much. Waking up to heavy snowfall os quite possibly my favorite thing in the world. And I love the muffled sound it makes outside.
No snow yet. I'm hoping for a big blizzard this year, we haven't gotten a large amount of snow since '04. :'(
In Montreal, while our winters in general can be pretty harsh at times, it usually doesn't begin to really snow until later in the month of November.
so um no :3

I am considering living in Montréal for some part of my college education, either the first couple years or the last. Is this recommended?

If you don't mind the damn gloomy winters. befuddlement
Well, it has nice restaurants and coffee places, local services and such. A pretty good public transports system (subway/bus). It's also relatively secure for a city of that size.
Phoenix.
Living in New York, I'm not surprised that there hasn't been any snow at all.
It was snowing when I was coming home, but the ground isn't cold enough for any of it to accumulate yet. I hope we get a few big snow storms this year. hocuspocus;
It usually doesn't snow here until... never. As expected all days are rather warm, trees are all green and covered in leaves, and other plants look like it might as well be summer.
Hasn't snowed in Boston yet. I'm going out and dancing when it does. hocuspocus;

I laugh whenever the news talks about it being 'cold' in Florida and they show people wearing thick coats and scarves because it got below fifty degrees.

Below fifty degrees? Expect Alaskan coats. In the 50's and 60's people are wearing lighter coats but usually still coats nonetheless.
People here do the opposite, and laugh when they see somebody like me who is
crazy enough to sometimes wear shorts and a regular tshirt in 50+ Fahrenheit weather.
There was about 3 inches here this morning, but it wasn't the first snowfall this year.
The most we got was frost.
It doesn't snow or to my knowledge doesn't snow anywhere close by to where I live... I wish it did though. :(
Snowing right now
