Title: How "childish" are my gaming tastes
Post by: Boyager on November 01, 2008, 05:04:08 PM
Games I like include, not counting spinoffs:
Pokemon (it's like my favorite series of games)
Sonic
Super Mario
Ace Attorney
Final Fantasy (Only one I've played so far is FF3 DS)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Trauma Center
Harvest Moon
Mario RPGs (including Paper, M&L, and LotSS)
Kirby
Smash Bros
Mario Kart
Legend of Zelda
Animal Crossing
Starcraft
Spore (but my computer can't run much more than the Creature Creator)
Various puzzle games
Various sandbox/creation games and map editors

Games I dislike include:
As far as I've tried, anything considered FPS (I've tried Halo, Half-Life 2, some Star Wars shooter which I forgot the name of, Unreal Tournament, Doom, Counterstrike, and some World War 2 shooter which I forgot the name of)
Any other fighting games I've tried

The only gaming systems I've owned other than Nintendo ones are Genesis and PS2. (I don't even have games for the PS2 and I got the system for free from some person)

I haven't played it yet, other than Hunters Demo (which sucks, but I don't blame that on the series)

Oh yes, Guitar Hero-like games is something else I dislike.
Not all music games, as I am fine with DDR (although not very good at it).

We must be the same person :O

Also, try Sonic the Fighters as a fighting game.  Then Killer Instinct for the SNES.

I have tried Sonic the Fighters (in Gems Collection). It's fine, I guess. I didn't really feel much for it either as like or dislike.

neither of those are particularly great

especially not sonic the fighters

killer instinct is pretty good but falls short on a lot of aspects...the street fighter series and its spin-offs (marvel vs. capcom games fucking rule) still remain the best 2D fighters
