There's a major problem with it, though. The movie is tied heavily with Dead Man's Chest (second Pirates for those of you who already forgot), which is all fine and dandy, but doesn't it seem like the first movie has been cast away and forgotten? Seriously, the characters may have been brought back, but this movie almost just seems like a sequel to Dead Man's Chest, not Curse of the Black Pearl.

Oh and a big "wtf" to the monkey being skeletal in the second movie when that curse was supposed to be lifted.

No, if one of the coins is missing the curse is still in play.  educate; Remember how Jack got stabbed in the first one and he turned into the skeleton? D:

If you watch after the credits in COTBP, Jack the Monkey takes a coin and becomes cursed.

Okay, so the curse is still there because he took one. But...what about the other guys? The one with the fake eye, and his buddy? Why are they still alive the whole time? They don't turn skeletal, so they don't have coins...yet they were cursed also so they should be dead, and they weren't "brought back" the way Barboza was.

psyduck;

First off, Barbossa was shot as soon as he was cured of the curse. This, in turn, killed him. Pintel and Ragetti, however, managed to escape jail before being hanged as seen in Dead Man's Chest.

Oooooohhhh...see, I couldn't remember if the cursed pirates that died had died because of the fact that they were already too old to be living by that time (kept alive by the curse only) or it was because they were just killed after the curse was lifted.

K thx. I think I should watch the first one some time again.  psyduck;
