Title: So if we know the SPEED of SOUND & LIGHT, why CAN'T we HYPERSPACE?

Or is the world holding back this technology? You know stuff like Star Wars, Mass Effect and some other space whatchamacallit...

because most of the stuff we know is purely theoretical, we don't actually know how to apply it which is why we can't have nice things
