sometime soon I'll be making $300-400 from some Warhammer stuff, and I plan to fix/upgrade my MacBook Pro, which it has needed for a long time.
I'm going to get a brand new keyboard, since about 5 keys stick on this one and there are none that are as crisp as a new MBP, and there's scratched off letters and paint and shit on everything. I'm also going to get a Western Digital (or Seagate) 320gb/7200rpm/SATA drive to replace the stupid 90gb/5400 that I have now, so that I can sync with my iMac without being extremely selective. Finally, I will get matching 2gb sticks to replace my current 1.5gb setup.
While installing everything I'll disassemble the computer, clean the inevitably filthy innards, and fix the parts of the case where the top parts are separating from the bottom.
And then it should be good for another couple years
Well that sounds fun.
Too bad it'd be a waste of money to fix up my current PC, even a Mac mini would probably be better. ;-;

I dunno, my two keyboards previous to my current Macbook had minimal damage. The only real issue with my previous one was the major grease stains across the space bar.
