I want to organize my iTunes music and get it all into the iTunes folder.
Most of my music is where my torrents placed it. I've got 20 gigs of music, but only 16 (out of 80) gigs empty on my computer's hard drive. Consolidation copies the music instead of moving it, and I don't have enough space to copy my music and delete the extra copies left out etc.
Is there any easy alternative to moving my music to the iTunes folder?
Solution: Don't use iTunes.

Hardeeharrharr. It'd be nifty to try out a new software but it'd be a bitch to switch.
Don't bother switching, iTunes is by far the best.
I was going to suggest the Consolidate Library function, until you mentioned that you haven't got enough space. If you have an extra external drive lying around you could move your iTunes directory to their and then have it organise everything on the external drive, then you'd delete your primary stuff and copy the external folder over.
If that's not an option either, I guess do it manually.
I just have all my music torrents go to /Music.
I think it would work if you copied everything to the iTunes music folder, and it would check there for the songs.

Would it work if I highlighted all of the folders containing my music and shit, and moved them to the iTunes folder? Would it automatically sort through the files?
