damnit, i thought that this thread was about the update happening like right now.

The only feature that I'm looking forward to is being able to private chat with more than one person.

oh yeah microsoft or some company said that installing games onto the xbox harddrive won't make load times that much faster.

so it's pretty much takes up 10GB of space just so the disc won't spin

I saw an article on Kotaku that said that it wouldn't help much for newer titles as they're optimised as opposed to launch title.  But it'll still make it quieter because the DVD drive won't need to spin.
