no, he owes 60,000 (30k for me and 30k for my sister).
He tried getting payments(that he wasn't even making) reduced, but didn't show up for court so my mom filed a motion to dismiss and the court said they are going to prosecute him. He had just gotten out of jail a few days ago. baddood;
Then why aren't you collecting? And what good is he if he's in jail? He doesn't have any new income so how he is supposed to make the payments after his pockets are empty if they're not already? When was the last time he made a payment?

He won't pay and the state won't do shit. He only got arrested and went to jail after calling in a bomb threat to the social security building, be placed on probation and violating probation.
He was found to be in contempt of court like 10 years ago but nothing happened.

I think he made a few payments 10 years ago before stopping(probably why the contempt charges), but I think that was only for a month or two.

Yes, it's all backpay so he'll be required to pay all of it (given that it was court mandated that he originally begin child support payments) whether you're under 21 or not. He may not finish making child support payments until he's 65.

Lawyers can do anything if they are good, let guilty people walk, send innocent people to jail, sue the poop out of tons of innocent people, they are really great ^_^
