WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
I want to make a living off my writing and possibly work for a publisher as an editor or something as well. baddood;

I honestly don't want to do anything (not be lazy, of course, but I don't think I have the skills and will to make anything I love into a career) I'll do what I have to do. I want to be who I am.

I don't understand the focus on a career. Are we born to work? Just like some people think there's just one person out there for them, is there just one job, and your childhood and adolescence is just the process of getting there?
I don't care what I do, as long as I can stand doing it. I care about if I'm living, and not just alive.

For some careers, yes, it will be clear from a young age that it is your forte. This is usually the case for those who go into the arts like I am.
And when it's something you can enjoy, like writing for me, it's hardly "work."

This is what happens when you read Ralph Waldo Emerson while listening to Against Me!
YOU GET THIS VIOLENT, IRREPRESIBLE URGE TO STAND IN THE CROWD, THE COMFORMISTS AT YOUR FRONT AND THE NONCONFORMISTS AT YOUR BACK, AND SHOUT LOUDLY THE MOST AUDACIOUS THING YOU COULD EVER SAY: "I AM AN INDIVIDUAL, I AM MYSELF, I LIVE, I AM, AND I AM WORTH SOMETHING!"
film, like art direction or cinematography or even being a camera man, mayhaps.
but I have a feeling I'll get by doing random wheelin' and dealins like I do now.
If you honestly feel that having a career that you like detracts from your individuality, then you must not have much else to consider yourself individual with.
...which is kind of sad, if that's really the case. doodthing;
It'll probably be something biology related. Right now I think I'll either become a Bio teacher or get into the field of biotechnology. baddood;

I wanted to do something in marine biology when I was like 8. I guess it's just because I liked aquariums and stuff so much.

If I go into biology, it won't be marine. More than likely it'll be medicine or something. baddood;
Ideally I'd like to be in music somehow. If that doesn't work out I'd still prefer not to be in a totally conventional job. I guess if music doesn't work out I can fall back on writing. Honestly, though, I'd be happy doing anything as long as it pays the bills and allows me to live a happy life. I'm not going to let any job be the boss of me. I've seen way too many people become slaves to their careers.
...I don't know. ;_;
A psychologist or an investigator person.
Some type of designing or art. Like games, electronics, architecture, engineering, movies, something along those lines.

I'd like to either into Research and Development for some Pharmaceutical Company. So either I'll just major in Pharmacology and get into Pharmacy School, or another path I'd consider is actually going into botany and mycology and still doing research dealing with those two.
What's the point of worrying about all these jobs and school and stuff when life is so short? I just want to live. :(
I want to be an actor.

Who's worrying? This is just about what we'd like to do, not what we
have to do. It shouldn't interfere with living life the way we want to.
I know, but I can't share it with you. :(

Well no shit, we have to work because if everyone took that approach, no one would work and nothing would get done.
We as a society are the pillars to the platform that we ourselves stand on. That's how life works. That's how it has to work.
Thats why you get a job trhat either you love, or doesn't involve too many working hours.
