Title: Whoo, birthday.
Post by: fox127 on September 07, 2008, 10:35:25 AM
One more fucking day, but, I'm celebrating it today. Opened up my Wii last night to "try out the rechargeable battery" for my wiimote and then I just left it there and played for like 3 hours then went to sleep.
I have No More Heroes, my friends letting me borrow Super Mario Galaxy, I'm gonna save up for Brawl (unless someone gives me money today), and then I'm gonna buy a classic controller and some wiipoints (apparently, theres an access point somewhere near my apartment, so yay, free wi-fi)

Any good games you wanna recommend? (Besides Corruption, I'm gonna get that too)

Mario Kart Wii, despite how much people say it's "harder" than the other MK games, is still pretty enjoyable. You might as well get it as long as you liked the previous MK games.

I don't really have anything else to suggest though.

Yeah, they're pretty scarce. Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Brawl and Mario Kart Wii are all I really care for.

I've played it, sure, compared to MKDS it's not as competitive, but it's a little more fun then spamming the constant powerslide boosts (I remember how much my index finger hurt after hours of trying to get 3 star rank, omfg, ow). So, I might get it, not really trying to get the last copy of it anytime soon in a store, but I'll get it.

Yeah. it actually could have been a good system if Nintendo would have spent more time developing games.

I liked and still play TP on my wii.

I suggest getting Super Paper Mario after there's a super-price drop. Might be awhile. And I'd also get elebits off ebay or something. You can find it for $10-15 on there, and I think it's worth that much. I like it when I'm bored.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
Mario Kart Wii

Those are the really good ones that I would easily recommend.

RE4 for sure if you haven't played it on another console yet.
Just get Galaxy and that, and you'll be set.

Mine didn't change at all when I reached 18 and it's only gotten better with age.
