Title: Psychobabble
Post by: Samus Aran on September 05, 2008, 12:52:51 AM
Silly words can be fun. I find "psychobabble" to be a silly word, but it certainly has its uses.

What are some of your favorite words that might be considered silly?  powerofone;

That's just a slurred version of "In the Garden of Eden." And it's not a word. It's a song by Iron Butterfly. But you probably knew that.

it's a phrase

...it's a song title caused by the vocalist being drunk while trying to sing the song and then one of the bandmembers deciding to keep the drunken title.

I've never heard it used as a phrase. If it's used as one, I don't see how it would be, because it doesn't make much sense on its own.
