Depends which series you like. If you like the Zero or Battle Network series, kill yourself before it spreads.

Zero is godly. Except Zero 4. It can suck my furry testicles.
Then again, I own the others in Japanese, so I didn't understand a single spoken line. 4's dialogue and plotline is kind of cheesy, and the gameplay is just flatout annoying.
Battle Network is not Megaman.

Not my type of RPG, I apologize.
Well, nobody can beat me in terms of Fanboyism for the real megaman timeline, which includes in this order:
Megaman Classic > X > Zero > ZX. ZXA> Legends.
I have worked out any flaws in the timeline too, including the mistype between some X games where it says X8 took place BEFORE x7.

NOW YOU NEED MEGAMAN ZERO 2, ZERO 3, X2, AND III.
Know what game is crazy fun? The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, for ps1.
Yes, it's a Sony title, but it's Megaman, and it's good.

I haven't played as many Megaman games as you, but I sure do love Megaman 1-4, since there the only ones of the orginal series I've played. I also love Megaman X 1-4, and 5 and 6 are okay I guess. Megaman Zero is awesome, and I have yet to beat Zero 2, 3, and 4, even though I own them all.

Out of the X series, there's 7 and 8, they're okay, and Command Mission is pretty good I guess, I mean, c'mon.

They're still obeying the platformey line. Command Mission goes the way of the RPG and kills it, but it makes up for it for me alone because I think Nana is hot.

Castlevania is a pretty awesome series. Their best game in history was on te Ps1 however, which everyone hates. Well, you could hate the hardware, but not the games, which is why they make EMULATORS.
I went through a Megaman phase in 6th grade. I beat the first three Megaman X games, but I lost interest when I discovered how fucking hard the NES games are.

Really? Maybe they were just easy because I was playing them with SNES9X, which has a really fast save-state system.

Both series are easy if you know the bosses' weaknesses. X3, in particular, has pushover mavericks.

I have to agree. The only hard part are the last stages of 2, and it's just because you don't get a password that lets you start from the last level you beat.
Zero 4 is the hardest to me, but I also flat out hate it.
