Title: Explicit or Clean Dammit
Post by: CHAOS66 on August 30, 2008, 10:36:08 PM
Well I just bought Slipknot's "All Hope is Gone" album. The cover said explicit lyrics, but when I ripped it the album was "All Hope is Gone [CLEAN]." So what the hell is it clean or explicit?
:(

lulz typo

explicit, duh.
Why would your computer be correct over the CD itself?
Just listen to it and find out.

She listens to stuff scarier than Slipknot.

And by the way, differing opinions don't mean that one is less ignorant toward different types of music. It just means they have different opinions on what's good in those types of music. So don't use the "you need to be more open" thing on everyone that hates a particular band.

Making judgments about a person or band based on how they look is, in fact, prejudice.

How about I say that you look like an idiot. That would be the same thing, except with different words. I don't know you very well, and if I were to say that you looked like that, that would be automatically assuming that you're an idiot. That's prejudice.

Christ.

If you don't like the growling, then go with metal that doesn't include growling. Simple as that.

I of course recommend Iron Maiden for anyone who's struggling to enjoy metal. No growling, yet the essentials of the heavy metal genre are definitely there. Try "Hallowed Be Thy Name" to start.

"Catastrophe" - Cypress Hill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mOB0WPyFpM) the quality on that one kind of sucks and keeps getting louder and quieter.
"Black is Back" - Public Enemy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cWpzTuaduY)

"Suffocated to Death by God's Shadow" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwpoi69LWiM) has some actual metal stuff in there.  ( Brian Fair, Mark Morton, Mike Smith and Steve DiGiorgio)

"Keeping it Real" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-IdaHHKPig&feature=related) has Adam Jackson in it.
"Evil Rules" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-vr4C0OIPE&feature=related) Scott Ian, Dave Ellefson and Ray Alder are all on that.  baddood;

Necro isn't one of my favorite rappers, I prefer his production work, but his stuff blends with metal and such.

Also all of Ill Bill's Black Metal does a good job of that.

k uhm jedi mind tricks

uhm
"Catastrophe" - Cypress Hill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mOB0WPyFpM) the quality on that one kind of sucks and keeps getting louder and quieter.
"Black is Back" - Public Enemy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cWpzTuaduY)

"Suffocated to Death by God's Shadow" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwpoi69LWiM) has some actual metal stuff in there.  ( Brian Fair, Mark Morton, Mike Smith and Steve DiGiorgio)

"Keeping it Real" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-IdaHHKPig&feature=related) has Adam Jackson in it.
"Evil Rules" - Necro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-vr4C0OIPE&feature=related) Scott Ian, Dave Ellefson and Ray Alder are all on that.  baddood;

Necro isn't one of my favorite rappers, I prefer his production work, but his stuff blends with metal and such.

Also all of Ill Bill's Black Metal does a good job of that.
ok i'll take a listen to it jmvs thankies ^____________________^

Lamb of God is about as scary as a big cuddly teddy bear.

Maybe that was the point? =0
