Title: How's this decade coming along?
Post by: Dullahan on August 17, 2008, 05:08:26 PM
We've gone through 8 years of this decade. Or at least I consider it. The reason I didn't put 2008 down is because we're not through it yet.

Anyways, pick two years. I pick 2004 and 2007.

2004 - I was in grade 7 and I started growing up. I started making new friends and meeting people as well as having more fun at school and started developing more of a sense of humour and such. When I was living through this year, I thought that I was going to be happy for the rest of my school career. I was proven wrong, but I won't go into that.

2007 - I was in grade 10 and after two shitty years, things started to get better. I started developing more confidence in myself. I took control of my handle on drugs, I started hanging out with my old crowd who were like me.

You don't have to do what I did, but it'd be pretty cool if you did. I don't know why I'm doing this, it just makes me curious to see what times people enjoyed their lives...

i'm still a virgin and it's something i'm proud of

Around 2001/2002, I actually had friends, so those were the best years

2007.  I graduated from high school and also started talking to someone more often.

That person alone makes 2008 better than all of the other years.  baddood;

2000 - idk, cause it's closest to the 90's and the 90's were awesume

2004 -  Nsider lol rofl. Also, I masturbated for the first time. And that was really a huge milestone in my life. It symbolizes me growing up and maturing.

oh yea, and I guess 2007 is a close runner-up because it was when I began writing and when I first became creative.

'07 - I was in 8th grade through the first part of that year, and even though I was a pretty shy and silent kid at the beginning of the school year(end of '06), I was pretty cool guy at the end (with my classmates, at least).  Of course, the end of this year was the beginning of freshman year, which pretty much sucked.

'05 - I was in 5th grade through the first part of that year.  That year was absolutely beastly because I was actually one of the most popular kids in my school, and I was a talkative person.  At the end of 5th grade, I was given the opportunity to skip the 6th grade, and I took that opportunity.  I still wonder if that was a good decision, though, because 7th grade was absolutely horrible, and the fact that I wasn't friends with almost anyone in my class made me more introverted.  It was still a good year, though.

I picked '07 and '06. I started 9th grade in '06 and 10th in '07 and they have been the best two school years of my life. doodella;
i don't want to go into detail because it'd take too long but long story short i met and became friends with some really amazing people
plus both years' teachers were truly awesome

Well... 2008 is my favorite year so far...

But I'll pick a different one!

2005 -
I was in the 7th/8th grade. I met all the people that would be my friends for the next two years. I started listening to the music I enjoy listening to. I explored a lot and was not home very often. I got a haircut and went to Canada.

Wow, I'm surprised 2003 has no votes.

I look back and I find some good music coming out that year, Canada got a new prime minister, and people around the great lakes area suffered a massive blackout. What a year. powerofone;
