Sometimes when I drive by little motels, I get a little sad.

Why

they never have a chance,

I never knew what the difference between a hotel and motel where.

I thought a motel, was a mobile hotel.  doodella;

Motels are smaller, have paper thin walls, and are home to prostitutes and drug dealers. They are also usually much cheaper.

Motels were originally found on highways and interstates and were one story. Whereas Hotels where found in cities and had multiple floors.  The stuff I know is somehow disturbing.    >.<
