King Crimson
I'm listening to Larks' Tongues in Aspic and it reminds me of Tom & Jerry.
It's pretty cool, I don't like it as much as I like Gazpacho though.

I meant the whole album, not just the song.

Oh, silly me. Yes, the entire album is amazing.

I have and I want to love it so badly but I don't think I do.
One last chance.
Instrumentals are cool, sound of the vocals are awesome, lyrics are lame.
I Talk to the Wind rules, I love these lyrics.
Art rock is such a generic and confusing term. Are you referring to Progressive Rock? Kraut Rock? Shoegaze? Ambient?
As far as a recommendation goes though, I'd say My Bloody Valentine is a decent bet.

EDIT: About King Crimson... In the Court of the Crimson King hasn't aged well at all, I'd switch over to the album Red-- since it's pretty much the most epoch shit ever recorded. Fripp and Co. were at their peak on Red.

I kind of hate Ambient, at least most of the time.
Does CocoRosie count as Art Rock? I honestly don't know... Or is it just new folk...
It's interesting regardless, if you've never listened to them maybe you'd like them. I apologize if it's not what you're looking for.
