COMBAT IS TOO FUCKING FUCKING FRANTIC HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTROL TWO CHARACTERS AT ONCE IN WHAT MIGHT AS WELL BE IN TWO DIFFERENT FIGHTS WITH TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CONTROLS SCHEMES?
I can't say much for the story, though. Since I only just got Joshua.

Seriously, every time I try to let the computer handle it it just fucking gets hit like it doesn't know what its doing.

turn the computer takeover to fastest and there are no worries

you must really suck
Level up, eat some hamburgers, get some decent equipment.
I just frantically mash left or right, only looking up at the top screen to see which way I should be attacking. Works like a charm.
