Title: Breakup Songs
Post by: Sam on July 09, 2008, 09:06:24 PM
I know I'm not the only one who does this, but I'm not sure if any Boyagers do, so I figured I should ask.

When you're going through a difficult part of your life, like when you feel lonely, when you've broken up with a certain peron, when you're happy about something, etc. , do you ever find a perfect song to associate with how you feel?

For instance, when I dumped this guy awhile back, the song I ended up constantly listening to was Adia by Sarah McLachlan. I'm not sure why though.. something about it just fit so well. And now I've got a new song for my current situation.. but it really pisses me off because I only know like 80% of the lyrics, and looking them up- every site I've found it wrong.

But anyway, what about you guys?

Yes but not for the lyrics, for the state it puts me in when I listen to it.

Depending on the song, sometimes the lyrics can affect that.
