Question:
When you refer to the United States, do you use words such as "us" and "we", or do you just say the US, or America?
Option 1: Third person (US)
Option 2: First person (us, we)
I use us, and we.
WE ARE A SUPERPOWER
Third person.
It's not usually a good thing to imply that I'm an American.
Most of the time I use third person.
Both.
Both, but I voted for first person.
I do the same thing for sports teams. We won the World Series. We won the NBA Finals. We had all of our teams make the playoffs for their respective sports.
Usually first person.
"We were bombed by the Soviets. >.<"
WE ARE AMERICANS
THIS IS ARE COUNTRY

THIS IS ARE COUNTRY
OUR
I say us, we.
I'm proud to be American especially here in this Latino neighborhood where, for some strange reason, everyone likes Mexico better than the USA.
I fucking hate Mexico.
Both.
I don't know.
I'll say like "The US is" and "The United States are".
But I'll also say "We'll do..." or "We did..."
I don't usually use "us" and "we" when talking about things unless it's specifically taking about stuff that I have done.
I mostly just use it in third. Does that make me less patriotic?

Racist.
I say USA because I'm Canadian. caterpie;
I sometimes use Canada in first person
It depends the situation. If it's something good, I'll use first person. It's it's something annoying like not converting to the metric system, I'll use third person. But most of the time, it's whatever I feel like saying at that moment.

Blasphemy! You don't have a Team America shirt?
Also, I use "the U.S." most of the time, sometimes "we".

No, i don't. And if I did, I wouldn't wear it nowadays. It's not good to be American with Bush in the white house.

You're idiotic, America is not represented by one person, no matter which fool is in office. This country and it's people mean so much more.

If Bush was elected twice, it shows how stupid the people are. And if McCain somehow wins in November, it just reinforces that statement.

You're not supposed to change presidents during a war, and Bush was elected the first time because of his bullshit.

What war? The US hasn't declared war since WWII. doodhuh;
I use third person. Using "us" and "we" sounds weird to me.

what
Depends on the situation. Usualy I'll just say "America", but I know there have been situations where I've used the first person.
First, I love acting patriotic
