Title: Slavery in the US: Existing until WWII?

I knew that forms of slavery existed(and still does) in the US after the civil war but I didn't know it existed on that level.

What is your opinion on this?

So long as people exist within a set society slavery will always exist, it cares not for names of countries or dates.

It's not surprising.
