Those were the best I could find in terms of looks really... everything else is about the same. The Intrepid looks the best of those in my opinion

Are you kidding me? For 5 Gs cash you can get a car under 75K miles and in very good condition. I wonder how poor JMV is to have 5 Grand for a new car.

I can get a decent car, barely 1,000,000 miles, great running condition, for $1,000 or less.

My mom bought her 2003 Dodge Neon for under $5,000 with about 60,000 miles on it.

Poor people don't buy their kids $5,000 cars.

i think jmv being poor is just a lie

That's the only good Volvo I can find in Boston Craigslist; a good method is to go to Craigslists for cities near you, search "volvo" and scroll down the list until you see ones from years 1990-1994.

They're surprising awesome vehicles... engines last well beyond 250k miles, they're consistently reviewed as some of the safest and most reliable cars ever, and start 100% of the time (might not be important on the coast but in -40 degree winters here it is important).

Also they're cheap and don't look too bad. Personally I love the 1989-1992 240s because they're the coolest, but you want to look for the 740-940 models. Leather interiors, better engines; they were luxury sedans of the day.

hope this helps, james
