Title: Help Guys
Post by: NOA_Haunted on May 19, 2008, 04:27:39 PM
Does anyone know how to do this?

Suppose a plane is flying at a speed and direction which, in still air, would be 550 mph, 25 degrees north of west. Also, suppose there is a wind of 80 mph, 10 degrees south of east.

What is the resulting ground speed and direction of the plane in this wind condition?

Uh...I'm not sure what to do, but I would recommend you ask Title. He flies planes.
