Title: I challenge any of you
Post by: KonohaShinobi on May 18, 2008, 06:38:07 AM
To get through I Am Sam, the entire movie, without crying at least twice. I swear I get choked up just hearing the title. Such a moving film.
The only other movie I've actually cried full-blown tears over is Pokemon The First Movie when Ash was frozen by Mew and Mewtwo's attack. You know after that heartbreaking scene with all the Pokemon fighting the clone version of themselves and that strangely intoxicating song playing in the background. I was six years old when the movie came out and I was like the first one in line to get the little Mew special edition card when it was shown in theaters.

ITT movies you've cried watching

I saw it when it first came out, and I didn't shed a tear.

The only movie I can ever remember crying to...is Air Bud. >.<
I'm not sure if I was actually crying from the movie, or if I had done something to make myself cry. But, either way, it's a shitty movie.

I Am Sam is really sad...

The Science of Sleep (after you watch it <10 times it gets REALLY sad)
Fried Green Tomatoes
Click (....)
Bridge to Terabithia
Winter Passing

and probably more than anything else:
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

but that was only because I was happy that it was coming out and overwhelmed.
(I love the Chronicles)

I watched it. I didn't shed a tear from the incredibly manipulative and mediocre film.

Pokemon the first movie, when ash turned into stone and the Pokemon were crying... I was like around 6. Otherwise I don't remember crying during a movie.

Oh wait, I didn't post all the movies I cried during. The saddest movie I've ever seen was Grave of the Fireflies, by a longshot... but I've cried at soooo many more.

I cried at the very end of the last Lord of the Rings movie... sam's crying made me so sad. ;_; I love sam. And I'm not talking about myself. I promise.

I think I cried when I saw Titanic, but that was a looooong time ago.

I got teary at the end of juno because it was sooo happy. ;_;

I cried several times watching Full Metal Alchemist, including the movie.

Uh.. I'm positive there are more. I think I got teary in parts of death note. I cried when Zabuza/haku died in naruto... uh.. I dunno.

I know it's not a movie, but I cried while reading the last harry potter book. ;_;

HP Spoiler:
Frrreeeeeeeeddd ;_;
It was one of their first movies as well... didn't make me cry, but was a good movie to watch.

I saw that but didn't cry. baddood;

It is a really good movie though. Definitely rivals Miyazaki's work.

For some reason I only got teary the first time I saw it... then every other time I just couldn't help myself.

It's so sad but sooooo good. ;_;
