Title: http://www.pandora.com/ ~ behold the future of radio stations
Post by: The artist formally known on May 07, 2008, 08:35:57 PM
you put in a band you like and they submit to you bands you might like, but the best part is, they actually just play the music. they will show the the band name, song name, and play the song.

it's cool, some of you will benefit from this  befuddlement

I've known about it for a long time, but I've never bothered with it. I can generally figure out for myself which bands are similar to the ones I like.

I remember seeing this in like 7th grade

I think last.fm is a lot better, because you can get an idea of specific subgenres that appeal to you (through the tag system) and then find lots of artists/albums that you like.

You guys never used it?

I used it before I had my music on MP3s (Never had too much CDs and wasn't into downloading way back then). I still use it when I'm not on my computer and I need some music. It's great.

www.wfuckoffradio.com

All are decent stations.
