The United States Postal Service informed me this morning they lost my Mario Kart Wii shipment from Amazon.com AFTER I told them their tracking system said a delivery had been attempted and notice left at 5pm - which never happened. I was home.
So I went to 2 full USPS offices, 1 box office, and one handling/processing warehouse. Finally, after an hour at the warehouse they found it. Shame on me for choosing free shipping.
Ever had bad expierences like these?
That sucks, I can't think of any experiences that are as bad as that though.

Yes, back when Ohio State won the national championship in 2002, I ordered their championship package from Sports Illustrated. I forget which type of shipping it was, but it was supposed to be delivered in a few weeks. So I waited a few weeks, then 2 months, and I called SI, but they said it was already supposed to have been mailed to me. So I waited 4 more months, and finally got it. The postal service's excuse? It got stuck between the seats. For half a year apparently.

I've never had a problem with USPS. I love them... their international large package rates are great, and they don't take more than 7-10 days to deliver, usually. Domestically I use them exclusively for things under 10 pounds, and buyers always tell me how surprised they were to get things so quickly.
FedEx is good and reliable, too, for big domestic shipments.
UPS, however, is fucking terrible, and has retarded people delivering packages, and they like do everything in their power to destroy your boxes
