On half.com, the best place to buy new books online, you can send "friends" $5 coupons, and every time they use one, you get one

But if you send them to yourself at alternate email addresses and then use them for $10 orders (the minimum order for coupons to be applied), you get more back... and if you can use more than one per order, you've got a good $10 off. If they don't stack, $5 off is still cool.

They have what I want but Amazon has it for $10 cheaper.

Now that I can use eBay I can sometimes get stuff even cheaper unless some crazy bastard is selling Pikmin sealed for like $15 on Amazon... which was a damn fine deal that I was sure not to pass up on.

I don't know about videa games, but Half.com definitely has almost every book ever for less than $4 in new or like-new condition. Or used paperbacks (and sometimes even hardcovers) for less than $1.

I use half.com for CD's, it's excellent.

I haven't checked out their book library though, I don't usually buy books, just get them from the library.
