Title: opinions on furry fandom and anthropomorphism
Post by: bluaki on April 14, 2008, 08:23:49 PM
People who are convinced that they should be an animal annoy me as do people who do things like wear fur suits.

I don't mind the furry drawings at all though. I actually like them as much as drawings of regular people.

I have no problems with them...for the most part. The people who make it a big deal by going to Anthrocon and wearing fursuits are pretty creepy, though. I also can't stand when furries cry "fursecution" and try to make other people bend to their will by incessant whining.

What does "fursectution" mean?

And yeah... I agree. The people who wear fursuits or do whatever stuff like it are somewhat creepy. I don't mind the people who do the simple things like drawing furry versions of themselves without trying to make a big deal over their furry fandom.

Think about what it rhymes with. Persecution. Many furries act as if they're victims on the internet and try to overly defend themselves and scream "furry pride" and shit like that. Happens a lot on 4chan.

I find furry fandom disturbing. Especially those who swear that they're a "wolf in a human's body" or whatever. doodthing;

I don't know... I don't really go to the furry parts of the internet. I'm assuming it would be annoying though, considering I dislike the pokeporn shit.
