Anyone ever hear of it? Some kids were talking about it in my lunch class today and said "It is a song; but makes you feel high". I was guessing it had something to do with Brainwaves, but has anyone else ever heard of it, or even tried it?

Yes, it's total bullshit. Go pirate the things and the program (they claim it won't work if you rip them to mp3, so fine, use their app) if you really want, but it's like taking Advil and thinking you're going to hallucinate.
If you're that desperate to get high without getting some weed (or you don't like the illegal aspect of it), I can recommend some good legal highs I've been dabbling in lately.

Over the past few weeks I've been trying some different varieties of kratom, which is a plant native to Southeastern Asia... its effects, optimally, are like opium (stimulative and sedative at the same time, increases lucidity and interest in music/anything, somewhere between an opiate and THC high). I've seen it compared to hydrocodone a lot, but I've never done that so I don't know.
If you're interested, lookup "Ultra Enhanced Indo Kratom" on Google. It's the best variety I've found. Don't go on eBay and buy the most leaf for the least amount of money, because it will be shitty. The Ultra Enhanced Indo stuff all comes from one maker, and is premium leaf enhanced with more of the alkaloids that induce the high. It's relatively expensive per gram (around $10), but you only need around that to get a good few hours of euphoric bliss. It's great.
Another slightly less intense option is Kava Kava, which is native to the Pacific and also completely natural. It's usually sold as an organic stress reliever, but I find if you mix a few teaspoons of it with warm milk and honey, it's not only delicious but
extremely relaxing. Even if you're not stressed, it gives you a great sense of oneness and lucidity. It doesn't vary in quality between vendors, from what I've seen, and goes for around $10-15 per ounce... a teaspoon is 3-4g, there's 28g in an ounce, I usually use 4-8 teaspoons over an amount of time.
Disclaimer: neither of these are going to get you close to a marijuana high, because otherwise they'd be illegal, and also they're not really the same. Kratom is a much more relaxing, blissful, waves of warm euphoria type thing. It's still unbelievably nice for something you can order online.
The next thing on my list is salvia, although a friend of mine tells me it's shit, and right now I'm kind of into the opiate high thing.
