Not necessarily. While most are quite small, sure, there are some species that range up to even 28 inches.

Yeah, and that's probably no coincidence, seeing as how trilobites and horseshoe crabs have very close evolutionary patterns, both being early sea arthropods that probably descended from sea scorpions.
