Same, I've been there once or twice, not that interesting.
Almost all of it is understandably unlikeable.
I will always hold a special place in my heart for /f/, though.

Well that's because you're an NSider still. Don't worry, it wears off over time.
i only like /v/ actually though
i occasionally go to /b/ when i feel like going to die, but i usually browse /sp/.

Yes.
I hated it at first, but then I began to understand how it operated and I now pay a few small visits each day.
There's a lot of stuff I still hate, like motivational posters, but overall it's enough to put s smirk on my face. Also, I use it as a tool to discover games I may be interested in.

I like /v/ too, along with /r9k/ and a little bit off /a/.
Sometimes I skim it because of this outcast kid in history who alwas says "first rule of 4chan, don't talk about 4chan"
and I was like okie dokey.

Tell him that his precious rules were originally created by Gaiafags and see how he reacts.
Which is completely true...unless mootles was lying again. madood;

I don't follow the rules.
If anyone talks about 4chan outside of 4chan it better not be one of the memes. If it is, I just say "4chan isn't funny outside of 4chan". What is funny is replies to threads that do not include memes.
Eh, I stopped going to /b/ for once, now it's only /r9k/ and /v/

Same here. Most of them are stupid anyway.

If I hear someone talking about 4chan memes or any other meme, I typically tell them how stupid they are, how old that joke is, and in almost every case, I tell them that it was never funny (because indeed, there are very few that were ever funny).
But that's only happened 3 times.

Eh I went to my old high school and literary heard about 4 people shouting stuff from 4chan. One had said loudly "epic fail" during Spirited Away when she falls down the stairs.
The worst part was that everyone had laughed at his "joke". I looked at my friend and we both said "dude, this sucks, lets leave."
We then told them they were the cancer and they had to get out of my super secret fun club and left. Though as we were leaving we heard him say "4chan is awesome!".

I'm trying to say that only some choose to believe that they only apply to raids, while others follow them literally. There's never been any clear way to follow the rules.
Not that I follow them anyway.
I have tried many times to understand 4chan and finally came up with the realization that everyone there is completely retarded.
I am quite fond of /r9k/.
/b/ gives the rest of 4chan a bad name.
I'm more of a 420chan person myself.
I'm just hooked.
