I like the album as a whole, though my favorite track off of it is "None Shall Pass."

Yea, I was about to put that one on here, but I decided Coffee instead. I think I like Coffee just a little bit more, otherwise None Shall Pass is my second favorite track, then Bring Back Pluto. Fumes is sick too......damn A LOT of tracks are sick. I just got the album last night.

So I just found this song, Every Light, and I really like it. I haven't heard anything else from Laura, but I just downloaded her cd, Mapping Your Dreams. I suggest you do the same.

I edited your first post to add a description to the spoiler.

If you do
Code Select
[spoiler=1/01/08 Song by Artist] it will allow you to put a description in the spoiler.

You don't have to, I just thought it would make things easier for you.

also, new song is good.  though the video makes me want cupcakes since i'm already hungry and it's 2:40 in the fucking morning.

I just got this track, and 3 others on record. Although the youtube video doesn't have bass like my turntable outputs, so it doesn't sound nearly as great.
Title: Re: Methree's Song of the now. [Jazz, kind of]

So this guy was a street performer in 1969 who apparently made his own clothes in homage to the vikings. And I read that he made most of his own instruments, but I could be wrong.

So I guess this is jazz, but I'm not sure, becuase I'm not really into jazz. Anyways, jazz liking people have claimed he's amazing, I have 2 of his cds, but haven't really listened to them, I'm more interested in sampling his work into beats.  doodella;

This is quite interesting. I don't even know how to describe this Moondog business, but I like it very much. Thanks.

Brand new 2008 hip hop. I love the lyrics of this song, and the beat is unique.

Great pick on that The Avalanches song -- I love that video. Trip-hop/acid jazz/downtempo has coming out of my speakers rather frequently lately. I wonder have you heard Bonobo? It is very good.

This guy is basically my hero. If I could produce like him....I'd squirt. I'm pretty sure he uses Ableton Live, so that's a step beyond what I'm using, FL Studio.
I also hear seeing him live is nuts.

Ableton Live is pretty good.  I have the demo installed on my computer. It can't save though lol.

Sounds like the FL Studio trial version. Same thing, can't save any projects.

I found a simple solution of using wiretap pro to record the sound.  baddood;

Oh, yea that's simple. I would just connect my headphone jack to my line in, and record. But in FL Studio trial ver. you can at least export your music. You cant save it, but you can export it. So basically you just can't go back to work on it.
Well thankfully I have the full version of FL so this is no problem for me.
