When I first saw the tall cardboard figure of a peace keeper agent for the game Crackdown, I noticed the small icon that stated, "Includes invitation to Halo 3 beta". I thought the game was purely a gimic to get people to play the Halo 3 beta. As the days went by I thought, "Oh well, I will rent it so I can play the Halo 3 beta and then return it." I just came home with my new copy of Crackdown and placed in into the Grey tray of my Xbox. The green ring of light spun, and the game loaded up. I tried to download the Beta and it said "Wait until later date to download" (Not knowing at the time that the beta isn't released until Wednesday. So I thought "Oh well." and I loaded the game thinking it could at least occupy me. I thought the game was amazing! It turns out this game was a lot of fun after all! Did anyone else discover this? Or does anyone else still think that it is a gimic?
I enjoyed the game as well.
It was an awesome game, while it lasted. Great missions to get achievement points, very creative. Only lasted me 2 weeks or so, but it was a hell of a good time.
