At least they're winning something. powerofone;
I just wondered how it must feel like to be the puppy, your body flying through the air..
It must be how superman feels. THE POWER OF GOD
You'd probably let out the highest pitched scream that you never knew you were capable of.
What an asshole.
Damn.

If I wasn't so unsure as to whether the puppy enjoyed his last moment flying through the air like a majestic bird or not, I'd be really pissed right now.
Fucking asshole.
It's nice to see that our tax dollars are being spent on dicks like that.
That made me sad. :(
He shoulda strapped a bomb to the puppy and threw it at a random citizen. Kill two harmless birds with one cute little stone. ^_^
Saw it on /b/.
Now PETA's gonna join Al-Quaeda. Major lulz.
...im very sad and very surprised that guy did that.

He's a soldier, in a war, aside the fact that he's an asshole he is definitely brave and courageous, more so than either you or me. Continue drinking your kool aid from the comfort of your armchair battle zone where World of Warcraft is the closest to death and conflict that you'll get.
Read the comments on the site and there germans or what ever they are use omfg and wtf. Now some of you are like why is that funny? It is funny because they don't speak english and those are english abbreviations. HAHAHHAHA

Most people join war because they think it's some badass Contra-like "FUCK YEAH, IT'S TIME TO KILL SOME COMMIES." Most of them shit their pants and cry if a single person does dare contest them.
Now, WWII was loaded with badasses.
Also, I refrain from MMOs and most 3D games in general, but play feistier games such as Life Force and Gradius.

Who told you this? Fear is a natural human emotion but Marines don't "shit" their pants nor do they usually surrender. Let's ship you out to Iraq or Afghanistan and see how brave you are, my bet is not even close to the level of an average soldier. Baseless comments which youââ,¬â,,¢re pulling our your ass do nothing to de-value the sacrifice and courage of this person, regardless of how he feels about animals. Point is, you have not faced what he has, and until you do (if you do) you are in no position to make such comments.

And bravery equates to throwing puppies or riding an airplane to a foreign country and sitting around in tents?
What courage does he have? Hell, if every man like this was sacrificed, America may actually be a respectable place.

No it does not, which is why I'm confused why you have to equate the two. That's just someone doing something stupid and terrible, it has nothing to do with how brave they are.
Quote from: Lawlz on March 04, 2008, 02:40:53 PM

Are you an idiot or just trying to sound like one? These wars have killed thousands of troops and injured tens of thousands, it's probably one of the most challenging lengthy conflicts the US has been involved in since Vietnam due to the asymmetrical, psychological, political and cultural aspects of it. They are not "sitting" in tens, they are engaging in combat everyday and are being forced on extended deployments due to troop shortages. Not only are they courageous but they are making personal sacrifices as well, and sometimes paying the ultimate price. The least you could do is get your fucking facts right, stop pulling shit out your ass and show some respect and gratitude.
Quote from: Lawlz on March 04, 2008, 02:40:53 PM

The courage to join the military and risk injury and death for my security and yours, he has no say where he is deployed and or over what he might face. How many people are willing to make personal, family and career sacrifices in order to join the military? Very few as active personnel make up less than one percent of the population. In any case, it's leaps more than you've ever done so once again, stop with BS and baseless assumptions.
Yes what he did was fucking messed up, that however cannot take away from his courage nor the actions he has taken up to this point.
wouldn't construction worker be a truly courageous job
They could be crushed at any moment, and their job is simply to provide work and improved quality of life for everyone without taking the life of another.
Also, my father is in the military but that doesn't mean I really give a shit about the force itself. I'm actually in support of just abolishing military forces worldwide but idkkkkk [:

Working in construction is a difficult job but it cannot be compared with the military. For one you are not making nearly the same amount of personal sacrifices, I.e. deployed in foreign bases, hash living conditions, no family limited time for personal life etcââ,¬Â¦ Not is it as dangerous as being in a war etcââ,¬Â¦

That's nice, keep pipe dreaming while your fathers and others continue to put themselves on the front lines so that you may have the liberty to not worry about being bombed and or killed by foreign forces while you sit there and dream about non realistic fantasy. Not to mention they also indirectly protect and ensure you and I enjoy our first world privileges and luxury.

Or waste their lives and regret not going to college and realize every single person they work with is a goddamn idiot and the nation they're working for really doesn't care about them at all.

Speak for yourself, there is a considerable community which is aware of history and the value of our military. Those who don't care are either ignorant or just assholes, we take way too much for granted in this country, but I digress. And not everyone has the same viewpoint on life, some actually do want this kind of life and career, to serve.

That's just not true. How did we get that way? Whatââ,¬â,,¢s keeping other nations from taking those luxuries way? All the things we have mean nothing without an advanced guard ensuring no one can change the status quo.
