What the fuck was wrong with normal ones?
The world is coming to an end.
They weren't electronic enough. baddood;
And these are so god damn expensive.
I could just get a wall mount for my phone and keep a looping slideshow of my images, or you know, get a real "picture frame".
because they kill trees baww
The Jetsons.
My Great-grandma got one and it is linked to her email, so if you email her a picture she can see it. She is also 90 years old and hardly ever sees us, so she deserves one.

Who set it up for her?
Normal ones can't hold 1gb of photos. :'(
normal piksher frames cause world hunger
they're just monitors for computers that are limited in what they can do.
Electronic ones can hold hundreds of photos. Real ones can't.
The other day, my mother was like "How good are these?"
I looked at the thing and saw it had 64 megabytes of memory with a 5 inch screen for $199. I hope she wasn't seriously considering buying one.

My mother got like, five of the keychain ones that hold 50 or so photos each on them for Christmas, and she never shut up about how "amazing" they are.
They're utterly pointless, and the keychain one is especially ridiculous.
my mom bought one for my grandma. It was two gb for about 150 (on sale for black thursday0.
While they're kinda nifty to have, they're just nowhere near worth the pricetag. She got one of the cheapest ones available and it's still rediculously overpriced. i would have called her stupid, but i figured she can't return it now anyway, might as well let her feel good about herself.

I can maybe understand a keychain one, as they're small enough to pull out of your pocket and flash around... but you can get an iPod or other PMP for about $150 and it does millions of other things and has many times the storage space. psyduck;

Are you serious? psyduck;
I can make one cheaper and it would be better. doodthing;
Luckily, my parents don't buy any electronics without consulting me.
