Not guaranteed for this year, but the new Green Day one.
Chinese Diplomacy spam;
King Mathers
Detox
I think Coldplay and Oasis are both releasing albums this year. So those, I guess.
The only ones I can think of right now are Opeth's new untitled album and Muse's rumored '08 album.

Same here, minus the Coldplay (though I'll give it a listen because Brian Eno is producing).
Other then Oasis, there's The Verve, Supergrass, The Charlatans, and Kasabian. Some other stuff coming out, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Muse's rumored '08 album.
FUCK YES
R.E.M.'s new one drops April, so i'll give it a listen. Also, I've heard rumors that Depeche Mode are going to release one by christmas.
The Ramones' reunion album.

Jesus christ yes.
Let's just hope it is less along the lines of BHaR and more along the lines of Origin of Symmetry.

Well, the only ones still alive are the drummers and the replacement bassist, for whatever that's worth.
The new Rush album, no date so it could be 2009 but I noticed that they've already released two singles for it so it could happen quite soon which would be great.

Are you sure? The only singles they've released lately were from Snakes and Arrows.

wut?
Snakes and arrows was released like 5 months ago, how can there already be new singles?
I totally forgot, Primal Scream's new album is set to come out this year. Hopefully it won't be shit like their last, but I have hope. Last time they took a detour to shits-vile they came back with Vanishing Point, one of the best albums of the 90s.
AC/DC- Their new album
Metallica- Their new album
Wolfmother- Wolfmother II (PLEASE GOD... NOT ANOTHER FUCKING YEAR)
John Mayer- I'd like another blues album, but might hafta wait 'til 2009.
Teh AxL RoZe InDuStRiAl PrOjCt- CHINEEZ DAMOCKRACEE
I hear Chinese Democracy has been finished. Here's the problem: They spent 13 million making it, and it won't sell 13 million. Record companies wouldn't release it.
Currently I am anticipating the release of the following albums, the list is in no particular order...
Nigger - Nas
Detox - Dr. Dre (Hopefully 2008)
King Mathers - Eminem (Hopefully 2008)
The Odd Couple - Gnarls Barkley
LAX - The Game
Ego Trippin'- Snoop Dogg
Raw Footage - Ice Cube
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 - Raekwon
The Reformation - Bishop Lamont
The Greatest Story Never Told - Saigon

Eh, I guess they're alright. I'm just not a fan. To me, Weezer is just a bunch of amped-up arena rockers who pretend to care about their fans.
